We had a fantastic, fun and festive last week of school together!
We enjoyed singing carols together as a whole school. We had a great danced party to celebrate filling our marble jar with acts of kindness!
We had a great time decorating our classroom door for the door decorating competition. The morning class had grade six friends help us out.
Our afternoon class were brave and proud as they performed in our Celebration of Learning!
Thanks to all the families who came to watch and support us, and helped contribute to our learning by sending in food bank items and family photos. We couldn't do it without all your help!
In the New Year we will be continuing learning our letters and sounds with the letter "I" during our first week back. We will also start practicing sight words. I will be following the Dolch word list for sight words. Stay tuned for our first sight words and some games you can play to reinforce them at home!
In Math we will continue focusing on how to represent the numbers 6-10 in different ways, starting with the number 6 during our first week.
I hope you all have a safe, restful and happy holiday! See you in the new year on January 6th for our first day back to school!
